What's your favorite charity? For my birthday I asked my parents to donate $240 to pay for a surgery through Operation Smile. I think of how embarrassed I am when I have crap in my teeth making me not want to smile, just imagine appearing hideous/deformed to others even when you are smiling :(

Rufio announces they are recording their fourth studio album for release this Spring 2010. After a brief hiatus, the gifted shredders from Rancho Cucamonga, CA are back and loaded with fifteen new songs. During their "time off" , the guys found time to tour Brazil, Indonesia and look forward to expanding their global audience. The next year will include a full-time worldwide touring schedule in support of the release,

The four-piece will release the first new content in a few years with 'The Loneliest' EP available digitally January 19th, 2010.

"We want to give the fans a taste of what's to come," remarks Scott Sellers (singer/guitarist), "we banged them out in just a few days, but we're proud of the songwriting."

Lead guitarist Clark Domae added, "It's definitely the best content we've created and we're stoked to share it with the world."

Rufio will play their first U.S. show of 2010 at The Glasshouse in Pomona, CA on January 23, and a stop at the Clubhouse in Tempe, AZ on Feb 5th.

Holly and I once went to the museum of natural history in new york and she tried to explain to me the feeling of enchantment one gets from lying underneath the big whale. we are both virgos but apparently i am the type of virgo that is afraid of foot traffic and suspension cables snapping and accidental limb crushing in public spaces. (read: bummer)…but she’s a great sport and an incredible talent! check her out:

Steel Train! Jack and I once discussed matters of the heart over plates of steaming corned beef and fries. there was a table of fascinating folks to engage with but we did our best impression of gossip girl and pretended no one else was in the restaurant. if the rest of the band has as much charm and kind heart-ed-ness as jack, you, the audience, should be prepared for a swoon fest. they are a terrific band and we are SO excited they are joining the tour!
